I highly recommend hiring Victor for dog training.

I reached out to Victor for help with my dogs. I was burntout, overwhelmed, and needed help changing my relationship with my dogs. The biggest thing Victor helped me with is realizing how I was causing a lot of the problems with my dogs, and that I could change it. We recently moved back to the area and now we have a dog. My dog has always been friendly, but ever since going to a kennel he became scared and very protective and and aggressive towards other dogs. We have done other training where they give snacks as a reward but I shouldn't have to give my dog a reward every time. Yes he needs to know he is loved and cared for but he also needs to know rules and behavior just like my children need to know rules. Ever since meeting Victor and his training it really has opened my eyes to how I am in control of my dog he is not in control of me. And he has done a drastic change in behavior and commands. Victor is Great , I talked with a few trainers and chose K9-101
Victor worked with us/me on my time schedule. some lessons took me longer to get. one phone call and I was back in business. or when it took me longer to get my home work complete. we went on to the next lesson.  I am looking forward to the next set of lessons.

I’ve done it all with dog training from books to professional training in residence to people who come to our house. Victor at K9-101 has been working the best so far. I’ll go thru my experiences and why this has been effective.
1) books just didn’t work
2) I fumbled thru several dogs with trial and error, DIY. It worked ok but I always had some behavior I couldn’t fix. We now have 2 littler kids and friends over, etc, I just really need a dog that listens and is trustworthy.
3) trained in residence - it worked for the time the dog was there but was very expensive and it was difficult for me to stay on the things trained. I also got my dog back dangerously thin. I’m done with that. Never again.
4) other trainers came to my house but  required I sign an agreement I wouldn’t use various tools (prong collar for ex). This makes me uncomfortable for reason above - a trainer doesn’t know what’s needed until the dog-situation is evaluated, and removing tools from the toolbox is just unwise. Also depending on the trainer they tend to have a problem figuring out what you need or being prepared when they go from apmt to apmt. I just don’t have time for that.
5) then, I found Victor. He’s punctual, organized and has a system he’s spent time perfecting. He cares about your relationship to your dog and vice versa. He works solely on teaching me to execute the lesson content, so I’m the one training the dog. We’ve had better consistency and better results using this approach. He’s worked with my young daughter because she needs to handle the dog and get her to listen. He’s been great with my kid. Directions are clear and simple enough anyone can do them.

If you are struggling with your dog or just want to have a very well behaved dog (who won’t hurt anyone pulling and charging at will) then call Victor. Life’s too short to have a dog that doesn’t behave.

Our pup is now 8 mo and people compliment us on how well behaved she is. Toddlers run by, busy events, other dogs, new people - she’s been impressive and I can’t wait to see where we end up.

K9-101 deserves a 10-star rating!

Our aggressive chihuahua, Simon, was sitting obediently next to a pit bull after the first lesson! We sought out K9-101 for Simon's leash aggression. Our quality of life was dramatically reduced by Simon's growling and charging at other dogs. Our daily walks turned into a nightmare of barking, pulling, and attacking. Victor Rogo of K9-101 taught us to be the pack leader with easy and understandable commands. Victor broke up the training in four commands per lesson. This was just the right amount not to overwhelm us. Victor Rogo's instincts for understanding the dog's brain is amazing! He helped us understand Simon's mindset and how much he wants to please us. Victor was very patient, respectful, and encouraging with us and Simon. This encouragement calmed our fears about a 70-year-old couple and a 10-year-old dog learning new tricks.

K9-101 uses positive training with the dog and the owners. This method gave us the confidence for a successful outcome.

At lesson 5 we have noticed a dramatic difference in Simon's behavior. He seems oblivious to other dogs and his focus is totally on us. Simon's demeaner has changed to calm, relaxed, and happy. Our daily walks have become peaceful and enjoyable.

K9-101 is dog training that really works! Simon is the walking testimony of Victor Rogo's knowledge and expertise.

Training with K9-101 is hugely beneficial, we are so pleased that we chose this program!  There is a puppy course available that we utilized shortly after getting an 8 week old German shepherd and the results were immediate.  It had been over a decade since we had a puppy as part of the family and the training Victor has given us has made us far better equipped to incorporate our puppy into our family.  Victor has made himself available to thoroughly answer all my questions, which were numerous, and he has always responded quickly.  We just started the beginners class last week and the results are already evident.  We are looking forward to learning how to teach our dog to be the best she can be.  I’m hoping to have a dog that acts like she graduated with a master’s degree in obedience and not a dog that dropped out of elementary school.
